Jerusalem: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that he and U.S. President-elect Donald Trump "see eye to eye on Iranian threat".

“In last few days I spoke three times with President-elect Donald Trump. se were very good and important conversations. Talks designed to furr tighten strong alliance between Israel and USA. We see eye to eye (on) Iranian threat, on all its components, and danger posed by it.”

Netanyahu separately said that his Dutch counterpart, Dick Schoof, expressed being "ashamed" after fans of Maccabi Tel Aviv soccer team were attacked in Amsterdam.

"I demanded that perpetrators will be judged severely," Netanyahu ded.

Police launched a large-scale investigation after gangs of youths conducted what Amsterdam's mayor called "hit and run" attacks on fans that were apparently inspired by calls on social media to target Jewish people.

Five people were treated at hospitals and more than 60 suspects were arrested.

Amsterdam prosecutors said that four of suspects, including two mirs, remained jailed Saturday and would be arraigned next week.
