Haunting of the Hill House (2018)
The Haunting of the Hill House is an American supernatural horror web TV series directed for Netflix by Mike Flanagan. The series is loosely based on Shirley Jackson's 1959 novel with the same name. The plot alternates between two timelines, following five adult siblings, whose paranormal experiences at Hill House continue to haunt them today, and contains flashbacks depicting events leading up to the mansion's eventful night of 1992 when the family fled.
Bird Box (2018)
Bird Box is a post-apocalyptic 2018 American thriller film directed by Susanne Bier from a screenplay by Eric Heisserer based on Josh Malerman's 2014 novel of the same name. The character is played by Sandra Bullock. She tries to protect herself and two children from paranormal entities that make people who look at them go insane and commit suicide.
