Newlyweds, students among 63 Canadians killed in Iran plane crash
The Ukrainian Airlines flight that crashed in Tehran had newlyweds and students among the 63 Canadians who died in the accident. A total of 176 people died

Ukrainian Airlines flight that crashed in Tehran on January 8 h 63 Canians among 176 passengers who died in accident. According to reports, a newlywed couple was among 63 victims of crash. President of Iranian Herit Society of Edmonton, Reza Akbari, said that newlyweds Arash Pourzarabi and Pouneh Gourji were gruate students from University of Alberta, Cana and h come to Iran to get married.

Akbari said that Arash and Pouneh were on board with 4 people from ir wedding party and 24 or people belonging to Canian City of Edmonton. According to reports, ar newly married couple Siavash Ghafouri Azar and Sara Mamani were also one of victims in plane crash.

While talking to an international media outlet, a friend talked about one of victims Alvand Seghi who h played music for guests at his wedding. Both Seghi and his wife died along with his sister and her daughter.
While talking to reporters, Canian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that re was an expectation that Cana would be a part of investigation involving crash. According to reports, Ukrainian Airlines crash consisted of biggest Canian casualties since 1985 Air India accident that claimed lives of 268 Canians.

Ukraine International Airlines releases statement
A statement by Ukraine International Airlines re " airline while operating flight PS752 from Tehran to Kyiv disappeared from rars just after few minutes it took off from Tehran International Airport". statement furr ded that " aircraft departed from Tehran International Airport at 6:10 am (Iran local time)." According to reports, re were 176 passengers and 9 crew members aboard flight. UIA officials are currently clarifying exact number of passengers aboard, statement re.
According to media reports citing Ali Kashani, a senior public relations official at airport, plane was heing towards Kyiv and h 167 passengers and nine crew on board. Boeing 737 took off early December 8.

After a Ukraine International Airlines plane crashed in Iran on Wednesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy called for an end to speculation over reason behind plane crash. Many rumours have been doing rounds regarding connection of current US-Iran impasse to UIA plane crash. Revealing that all passengers and crew members on board were believed to have died, he expressed his condolences to ir family members. Moreover, he cut short his Oman visit and is on way back to Ukraine.
