North Korean television aired more strong statements from Pyongyang on Wednesday, including a new attack on South Korean President Moon Jae-in, coming from the Kim Yo Jong.

North Korea's recent barrage of criticism against South Korea has been going on for two weeks, but Wednesday's broadcast was the first to directly target Moon.

Kim Yo Jong's statement does not mention Moon by name, but refers to him as the South Korean "Chief Executive."

Kim Yo Jong is widely believed to be Kim Jong Un's sister, but inside North Korea, that relationship has never been openly acknowledged in public.

Kim Yo Jong led Pyongyang's landmark participation in the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea, and has since been taking on an increasingly high profile role.
