Nandamuri Harikrishna is survived by his wife, two sons, and a daughter. From his first wife, he h two sons, Janaki Ram and Kalyan Ram, and a daughter Suhasini. From his second wife, he h a son Taraka Ram who was later renamed by his far Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) as Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr (NTR Jr). Nandamuri Harikrishna is son of former Chief Minister of Andhra Presh and founder of Telugu Desam Party, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. Just like his far, he was inclined towards politics. N Harikrishna is also  bror-in-law of present Andhra Presh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. In early 90s, when TDP was going through internal fluctuation, Harikrishna played a crucial ro in getting party back on track. He was also a Minister in Naidu's cabinet and later also served as a Member of Parliament.
