An online petition has been launched to ban plastic-filled Christmas crackers by change.org after a teenager named Alexander writes a letter which went viral.

After a series of roaring online posts call for a ban on plastic Christmas crackers, Alexander, a thirteen-year-old has reportedly written a letter aiming at cracker making companies like Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, Aldi, Waitrose and Lidl to ban it. move has led to an online petition started by change.org which calls to ban same. Christmas crackers have also been banned by Etih, rwegian Airlines and Emirates airlines this year. With movements like extinction rebellion and activists like Greta Thunberg surging to dress issue of climate change, child's petition is yet ar milestone.
