Pak's New Diktat To Govt Employees, Cannot Use Social Media Without Permission

According to reports, a memorandum reads that Pakistani government employees cannot express opinions or facts that affect the reputation of the government.

Islamabad: In a new diktat, the Pakistani government has instructed employees that they can no longer use social media with permission from the administration.

According to reports, a memorandum reads that Pakistani government employees cannot express opinions or facts that affect the reputation of the government.

Government employees will now not be able to express opinions that goes against the dispensation.

Moreover, a strict action will be taken against public servants for violation.

The new guidelines not intended to ban "positive use of social media".
