Pakistan is making all attempts to peddle fake news in India regarding situation in Kashmir after abrogation of Article 370 that gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir. Even as India is countering fake claims and forces are maintaining paece in state, Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan is facing flak in his own country due to a number of issues. Pakistan's ecomy is in dire condition and Imran Khan-led govt h inflicted extreme pressure on media and is doing a crackdown on Opposition. Here are five instances that are proof of Imran Khan's 'Naya Pakistan' to be a fake claim and a testimony of what he is facing domestically.
- Even as Imran Khan and his government are taking numerous actions against India after scrapping of Article 370, claiming that it is 'illegal' to decide on a 'conflicted area' unilaterally, ecomy in Pakistan is deteriorating. On Thursday, stock market in Pakistan went a record low - down by 800 points. Incidentally, Pakistan cut off tre ties following J&K integration. It is being said that ever since India integrated with J&K by revoking Article 370, its market has gone down.

Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Monday asked Opposition parties to come toger on Kashmir, saying country should have a united stand on issue. dressing media in Muzaffarab in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir where he celebrated Eid al-ha and visited a refugee camp, Qureshi said entire "Pakistani nation and political leership is united on issue of Kashmir and one voice will be sounded on August 14 in support of Kashmiris.We have our differences...But re is difference on issue of Kashmir. If re was any difference, a joint resolution would t have been passed," he said. This statement by Qureshi is a proof of divide within Pakistan among political parties and ir hostility to Imran Khan.

As Pakistan's Parliament met to discuss abrogation of Article 370 by India, chaos erupted. On Wednesday, what came as a massive embarrassment for Imran Khan in joint parliamentary session of Pakistan Parliament, war-of-words broke out between Minister Faw Chaudhry and Mushahid Ullah Khan.
As Khan was speaking in House, Chaudhry interrupted him by making some comments and senator, in turn, called minister a "dabbu" (timid). Khan said: "I left you at home and you are back." To this, Chaudhry responded saying that he will hit minister with a shoe. Mushahid Ullah Khan n infuriates and allegedly says: "You shameless person. I h tied you up at home and you came here dog." He n says " Shut up. You don't have manners. You will learn it. Sit down." While speaker of House tries his level best to stop ruckus by asking both leers to t use 'unparliamentary langu' and to sit down and let or person talk, two leers do t stop.

Meanwhile crackdown on Opposition continued as Maryam Nawaz, Pakistan's former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's daughter, was arrested from Kot Lakhpat jail in Lahore on Thursday in a money laundering case while she was on her way back from visiting her far, who is lodged in same prison. On July 31, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam was questioned by anti-corruption ncy officials in connection with alleged money laundering and income beyond means charges against her and her family. According to an official press release issued by National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Maryam and her cousin Yousuf Abbas have been arrested in connection to Chaudhry Sugar Mills (CSM) case.

Earlier, as India was deploying troops in Jammu and Kashmir before abrogation of Article 370, Opposition parties across Pakistan std massive protest against Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on July 30. All main opposition parties held protest rallies accusing Imran Khan’s government of ruining ecomy and seeking to intimidate and silence its opponents. re has been a crackdown on Opposition under rule of Khan.
Amid mounting ecomic problems in country, protests were dubbed as black day protest and highlighted tensions in country a year after Imran Khan came to power. While re has been a surge in fuel prices, and a plunge in value of currency, re are ditional charges of allegations of media censorship and curb on voices of dissent. As Oppostion marches intensified on Thursday, cities of Quetta, Lahore and Karachi boomed with Anti Imran Khan sentiments.
