In last leg of Azi March that reached Islamab, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman held an anti-government mass rally on Friday, vember 1, and gave Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan an ultimatum of two days to resign from post of Prime Minister.

Ultimatum for resignation

While dressing massive crowd, Rehman justified his stand and said that he does intend to stand against  institutions in country but wish to see m strengned. JUI-F chief warned Imran Khan to step down from post of Prime Minister in two days or else people of Pakistan have capability to enter PM house and arrest Prime Minister.  

Azi March h kickstarted from Sohrab Goth area of Karachi's on October 27 amidst a massive show of strength by party workers from or opposition parties including Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan People's Party (PPP), and Awami National Party (ANP).

Rehman h said earlier that procession is a step towards making stronger bonds with people of Kashmir, who are suffering oppression of Indian army troops. He furr ded that turmoil in Kashmir is affecting rmal lives of people violating ir right to freedom. He claimed that Pakistan stands in solidarity with those oppressed in Kashmir. anti-government protest is likely to be one of biggest in country, surpassing numbers of 2014 'dharna' held against n Pakistani government led by Nawaz Sharif.

purpose of march is to dethrone Imran Khan, who has formed his government for just over a year, however, Imran Khan h me it clear on many occasions that he will t step down from his post due to pressure from opposition.
