Imran Khan removed as Pakistan Prime Minister after dissolution of National Assembly
Pakistan Cabinet Secretariat has issued notification for the removal of Imran Khan as the Prime Minister. Imran Khan has been de-notified as the Prime Minister.

Pakistan Cabinet Secretariat has issued tification for removal of Imran Khan as Prime Minister. Imran Khan has been de-tified as Prime Minister. Under Article 94 of Constitution, President directed Prime Minister to continue his work.
"Consequent upon dissolution of National Assembly by President of Pakistan, n terms of Article 58(1) re with Article 48(1) of Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, vide Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs' SRO . 487(1)/2022, dated 3rd April 2022, Mr Imran Ahm Khan Niazi ceased to hold Office of Prime Minister of Pakistan, with immediate effect," tification said, which was signed by ditional Secretary Eazaz Dar.

Ar tification said all 19 special assistants to Prime Minister, including DR Sania Nishtar, Mr Mohamm Shehz Arbab, Dr Faisal Sultan and Sardar Yar Muhamm Rind, ceased to hold office.
Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will send names of caretaker Prime Minister to opposition on Monday, April 3. A meeting is underway in Bani Gala residence of Imran Khan to consider names of caretaker PM.

-confidence motion introduced by united opposition fell through after Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri declared it illegal as according to him it sought to topple government at direction of a foreign power. Minutes later, Pakistan President Arif Alvi dissolved National Assembly (NA) on vice of Imran Khan. Meanwhile, opposition has moved Supreme Court.

Imran Khan on Sunday poked fun at Opposition leer after eving a -trust motion against him in NA. " opposition is still unable to understand what happened today," Khan laughingly told his lawmakers.
In a meeting in Islamab, Khan said that he kept final decision about defeating opposition as he wanted to give m a surprise. " opposition is clueless about situation right w. If I h disclosed what I was about to do yesterday, y wouldn't have been shocked," said Khan, who h effectively lost majority in 342-member National Assembly.
