In yet another embarrassment for Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, former Foreign Minister of Pakistan Hina Rabbani Khar took down Khan over his statement saying that 'Japan and Germany share borders'. In a video that has gone viral on social media recently, Hina Rabbani can be seen speaking in the Pakistan Parliament, hitting out at Imran Khan for embarrassing Pakistan in front of the world. Addressing the Pakistan Parliament, Hina Rabbani can be seen saying that Imran Khan has made Pakistan 'a laughing stock' in front of the world.
Imran Khan's geography faux-pas gained the attention of social media once again, only two days after a video shared by Mahindra Group CEO Anand Mahindra mocking the Pakistan PM. Notably, Hina Rabbani made the remarks against her Prime Minister almost four months ago, in April, during a session of the Pakistani parliament. In the video, Hina Rabbani exposed Imran Khan for 'distorting both History and Geography', after which she added that the Pak PM made the country a 'laughing stock' in front of the world.
"The honourable PM has distorted both history and geography for all of us. And this wasn't a slip of tongue. Our PM went on at lengths to explain Japan and Germany are neighbours. Geography tells us that Japan is in East Asia and Germany is in Europe. PM is saying both the countries are neighbours. He claims Japan and Germany were adversaries during World War 2, but history has it that they were both, in fact, collaborators. We are not worried about ourselves but we can no longer see the Prime Minister making Pakistan a laughing stock in the world," Pakistan politician Hina Rabbani said in the video.

Anand Mahindra mocks Imran Khan
A video of Imran Khan's bizarre goof-up claiming that Germany and Japan share a border resurfaced on social media recently. Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra took to Twitter and shared the video mocking the Pakistan PM over his knowledge of 'geography and history'. Anand Mahindra expressed his contentment over Imran Khan not being his 'history and geography teacher'. In the video, Imran Khan goes on about how Germany, which is situated in Western Europe, and Japan, which is an East Asian country share borders. He brazenly talks about the countries having joint industries on the border. The Pakistan PM made the statement at a joint press conference in Tehran in April 2019.
