Indian Government on Monday summoned Pakistan's High Commissioner Syed Haider Shah to lodge a strong protest against recent acts of vandalism and desecration of holy Gurudwara Sri Janam Asthan at Nankana Sahib in Pakistan, and also targeted killing of a Sikh community member in Peshawar, Pakistan.
government also shared strong concerns raised by members of civil society, parliamentarians and ors over continued persecution of religious and ethnic mirities in Pakistan. Government of Pakistan was also called upon to ensure safety, security and welfare of members of mirity communities on its soil, including ir places of worship. Sources report that protestors, comprising residents of Nankana Sahib h proclaimed that y will soon change name from Nankana Sahib to Ghulaman-e-Mustafa. Moreover, mob allegedly claimed that ' Sikh will remain in Nankana'. Reports suggest that several Sikh devotees were stranded inside Gurdwara which was attacked by mob on Friday evening.

Breaking his silence on shocking mob attack on Nankana Sahib, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday said that attack is against 'his vision' and will 'find zero tolerance'.
