Manmohan Singh to attend Kartarpur Corridor inauguration: Qureshi
Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that former Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh would attend the Kartarpur Corridor inauguration.

Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that former Indian prime minister Manmohan Singh would attend Kartarpur Corridor inauguration ceremony on vember 9 as a common man. Qureshi told reporters in his home town Multan on Saturday that Singh has accepted his invitation and would attend scheduled opening as a common man rar than as a special guest, Dawn newspaper reported.

"He is welcome even as a common participant," Qureshi said.

PM Modi attacked Congress party and said that it did t do anything to eliminate 4 km distance in last 70 years.

Kartarpur Sahib is located in Pakistan's Narowal district across Ravi River, about four kilometers from Dera Baba Nanak shrine. In a major initiative last vember, both India and Pakistan h agreed to set up Kartarpur Corridor. corridor will connect Darbar Sahib in Kartarpur with Dera Baba Nanak shrine in Gurdaspur district of Punjab and facilitate visa-free movement of Indian pilgrims, who will have to just obtain a permit to visit holy Gurudwara. Kartarpur Sahib was established in 1522 by Sikhism founder Guru Nanak Dev.
