Maryam Nawaz, after meeting her far in jail tified that Nawaz Sharif's heart disease has 'worsened' according to cardiologists sent by Pakistan government. Pertaining to situation she requested jail authorities to establish an "immediate resuscitation and life-saving unit" in jail.

 Pakistan's deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday refused to be relocated to a hospital for treatment despite requests by his family members, saying he prefers an "hourable death" over kneeling to "politics being done" by government in name of his treatment.

Sharif, 69, is serving seven-year imprisonment in Al-Azizia Steel Mills corruption case at Kot Lakhpat Jail since December 2018. "I will t accept PTI government's disdainful behaviour of pushing me around in name of medical treatment from one irrelevant hospital to ar. I prefer hourable death over kneeling to Imran Khan government's derogatory exploits," Sharif told his younger bror Shahbaz Sharif at Kot Lakhpat jail.

Sharif family is complaining that government is t providing health facilities to former premier who has serious health complications. Sharif said government is doing political victimization "in name of medical treatment". " government has t provided any facility for appropriate treatment and is bent on just irritating and boring to serve its prejudicial designs," he said.

Maryam said Sharif h "refused to go to any hospital despite suffering from a serious medical condition". Earlier in a tweet, she said she took her grandmor along with her to convince her far to let government shift him to a hospital. However, he "declined request" and told his mor to "go home, pray to God, and leave rest to will of almighty".
