MQM condemns "brutal manhandling" of peaceful protesters in PoK

Pakistan’s Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) on Oct 23, condemned the “brutal manhandling” of the peaceful protest of people in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Pakistan’s Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) on Wednesday, October 23, condemned “brutal manhandling” of peaceful protest of people in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). It pinned blame on its security forces and alleged that y treated people like “animals”. Central Coordination Committee (CCC) of MQM accused Pakistani military establishment of “shedding crocodile tears” for people of Jammu and Kashmir while maltreating those staying in PoK. Furrmore, it appealed to foreign diplomats and human rights organisations to take tice of this act of “barbarism”.

MQM’s statement re, “ MQM Central coordination committee condemned brutal manhandling of peaceful and incent people of PoK as people of occupied valley were on protest and several dozens of m have been severely injured and many lost ir lives after y were treated like animals by security forces and law enforcers on occasion of foreign diplomats visiting  LoC on request of Pakistan’s demonic military establishment”. CCC furr ded, ”It appealed to foreign diplomats who visited Pakistan held side of Kashmir that y should take tice of that barbarism and human rights organizations should step forward and take up case for sake of humanity”.

'Black Day' in PoK

security forces in PoK raided press club in capital city Muzaffarab on Tuesday, October 22, when Jammu Kashmir People’s National Alliance (JKPNA) was briefing media. It h called for a protest on October 24, outside Pakistan High Commission in London. t only did several journalists suffer injuries, but this was followed by an even more brutal crackdown. During a peaceful pro-freedom rally, two civilians were killed while 80 ors sustained injuries. locals were reportedly observing a ‘Black Day’ to protest 72nd anniversary of Pakistan’s invasion of Kashmir in 1947.
