Pakistan army plane crashes into residential area near Rawalpindi; several killed, injured

A Pakistan army plane on Tuesday rammed into a residential area in the Pakistani city of Rawalpindi near the capital Islamabad killing as many as fifteen people.

A Pakistan army plane on Tuesday rammed into a residential area in Pakistani city of Rawalpindi near capital Islamab killing as many as fifteen people. Informing about incident a rescue official told media early on Tuesday that mishap occurred after a plane of Pakistan army crashed into a residential area. He also informed that among 15, 10 were civilians and  five ors were crew members.

"A small plane crashed into a residential area. So far we have retrieved 15 de bodies, including 10 civilians and five crew members," rescue spokesman Farooq Butt said, ding that a furr 12 people h been injured. plane hit a residential area in Rawalpindi's vill named Mora Kalu.

Meanwhile, District commissioner Rawalpindi Ali Randhawa told media that incident occurred between 2:30 to 2:40 am when a small military plane which was on a training mission crashed in Rawalpindi. de and injured were shifted to various hospitals of Rawalpindi, where paramedics said most of victims were bly burnt.
