In a huge admission by Pakistan, the country made an admission about J&K belonging to India. Pakistan has been left red-faced on the international platform owing to this admission by Imran Khan's minister who called J&K 'Indian state of J&K'. Pakistan's Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi while speaking about Kashmir to the international media called the region 'Indian state of J&K' while referring to it. He was speaking in Geneva at the United Nations Human Rights Council.

"India has decided to give an impression to the world that life has returned to normalcy. If life has turned to normalcy, why don't they allow the international media, civil society organisation and NGOs into the Indian state of J&K and see for themselves? The reality is they are lying through their teeth and once the curfew is lifted the reality comes out and their world will wake up to the catastrophe that is underway right now. They are lying through their teeth," he said.

Pakistan quotes Rahul Gandhi, Omar Abdullah in its Kashmir dossier at UNHRC

Pakistan has quoted Opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi, Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti and others in the dossier on Kashmir in a last-ditch attempt to propel their propaganda against India at the UNHRC. In the dossier accessed by Republic, the anterior of it quotes Congress leader Rahul Gandhi lambasting the curtailment of "freedom and civil liberties" in the valley and NC vice president Omar Abdullah's criticism towards the PM Modi government citing "aggression against Kashmiris." The contents in the dossier by Islamabad attempts to fearmonger with hyperbolic interpretations of the situation in Kashmir following the abrogation of Article 370 and the subsequent communication blackout and military deployment in the valley due to security concerns from Pakistan backed terror outfits.
