On Monday, India revoked Article 370 to withdraw special status to Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcated region into two Union Territories - Jammu and Kashmir, and Lakh.

In reaction to India's move, Pakistan downgred diplomatic relations by expelling Indian High Commissioner on Wednesday and suspended tre ties with New Delhi.
" Prime Minister underlined that actions taken by India in a bid to change internationally recognised disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir were in violation of UN Security Council resolutions," Khan's office said in a statement.

"Any change in demographic structure of Jammu and Kashmir would constitute a violation of international law," it said.
Khan has alrey called Prime Ministers of UK and Malaysia, as well as Turkish President, Saudi Crown Prince and King of Bahrain to apprise m about Kashmir situation.

Prime Minister Khan highlighted serious risk of massive killings and stressed that international community must act urgently to prevent impending calamity, statement said.
He apprised Iranian leer of Pakistan's repeated calls and efforts, urging India to resolve dispute through peaceful means, in accordance with longstanding UNSC Resolutions, it said.
President Rouhani, while underlining that all possible efforts must be me to keep regional tensions low, stressed that Muslims of Kashmir must be able to use ir legal rights and interests to be able to live in peace, statement said.

He also expressed his concerns over killing of incent people in Jammu and Kashmir, it said.

Both leers agreed that military solution existed to resolve long-standing dispute.
Khan stressed that India should be counselled to immediately resolve issue under UN resolutions, statement said.
