Pakistan PM Imran Khan expected to meet US President Trump twice

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan will be attending 74th session of United Nations General Assembly. He is expected to have two meetings with US President Donald Trump. Pakistan PM's schedule of stay and meetings has been finalized. first meeting is expected to take place at a luncheon and ar at high-tea. Reportedly, PM Imran Khan will be arriving at New York on September 21 and will be dressing General Assembly on September 27.

Prime Minister Imran Khan is also reportedly scheduled to hold talks with world leers and take up topic of Kashmir as India revoked regions special status. Pakistan's PM has been trying to desperately to internationalize Kashmir issue but has been unsuccessful at it. US President and Pak's PM also held a telephonic conversation last month before UNSC meeting in New York. US President discussed regional developments and followed up on Pakistan PM's successful visit to Washington D.C in July. US president also conveyed importance of India and Pakistan reducing tensions through bilateral dialogue regarding situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

This would be Pak PM's second visit to United States. He previously visited in July and held a one-on-one conversation with President Trump. Pak President allegedly revealed that his country has about 30,000 to 40,000 militants who have been trained and fought in some part of Afghanistan or Kashmir.

Imran Khan with Saudi crown Prince
On September 3, Pak PM also discussed Kashmir issue with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman over phone. Reportedly this was fourth phone call between PM and Saudi Crown Prince over matter. Pakistan also faced a diplomatic setback as two of its closest allies, UAE and Saudi Arabia sided with India on Kashmir matter.
