Priyanka Chaturvedi slams Pak for using kids for political propaganda

BJP member and former journalist Shazia Ilmi posted a video on Sunday, October 14, on the microblogging site revealing Pakistan's malicious intention against India. In her tweet, she alleged Pakistan is now using children as "part of their propaganda". Slamming Pakistan for the video, Shiv Sena leader Priyanka Chaturvedi tweeted saying,

"These Pakistani kids deserve an education, not mental degradation and hallucination." The video doing rounds on social media is being slammed by netizens aswell.

The bizarre video shows Pakistan's topmost student organisation promoting a convention called Azadi E Kashmir Convention. The video was made to invite Pakistanis to participate in Azadi-e-Kashmir march against India's move to abrogate article 370 in Kashmir. According to reports, the organiser of this event is Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba, an organisation whose former members include current President Arif Alvi.

In the video, children can be seen speaking against India. It shows young Pakistani children saying "We will deploy the Indian Army to clean our lanes, we will eat Beef at Delhi Gate, only Urdu will be used in India."  One of the children said that she would go on a vacation to Shimla in 2020. While another child allegedly threatened to kill people of Rashtriya Sawayamsevak Sangh (RSS) once “Hind becomes Pakistan”.

FATF Grey lists Pakistan

Reportedly, the FATF had given the country four months to improve 'counter-terrorist financing' on a separate occasion. The FATF had also said Pakistan failed to complete its plans. “Not only did Pakistan fail to complete its action plan items by January deadline; it also failed to complete its action plan items due May 2019”. Pakistan was told to implement a 27- point action plan to block financial loopholes, terror financing and money laundering in the country. The FATF also placed Pakistan on Grey List in June 2018.

Pakistan fails to meet standards

Sources also revealed that if Pakistan fails to meet the implementation of the action plan, the country will be blacklisted. Several local media reports from the country claim that the plans have been implemented very well and show confidence in the higher-order to evade the blacklist. In August 2019, the Asia Pacific Joint Group (APJG) placed Pakistan in the enhanced follow up list for failure to meet the standards. The list was based on technical compliance and rated 'satisfactory' on meeting 10 points out of the 40.
