Several armed terrorists stormed into a 5-star hotel in Balochistan province of Pakistan.
It is known that Pearl Continental Hotel in the port city Gwadar was attacked by 4-5 armed terrorists, following which contigents of security forces have soon reached the location to commence the operation.
The exchange of firing between security forces and terrorists is underway.
"At around 4:50 pm (local time) we got reports that there are three to four armed men in PC Hotel," Station House Officer (SHO) Aslam Bangulzai said told Dawn.
Local media reports say that as many as 10 blasts were heard from the hotel.
Pakistani Police officals have also said that there were no foreigners present at the hotel.
China is currently working with the Pakistan government to construct the Gwadar port to facilitate trade and connectivity, wherein Beijin is investing approximately 50 billion dollars.

The banned terror outfit Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claims responsibility of the Gwadar Hotel attack.
In a statement says, the ongoing attack is being carried out by Majeed Brigade of BLA, the terror outfit.

Three terrorists attempted forced entry in Pearl Continental Gwadar. The guard at entry challenged them, thats when the terrorists opened fire on hotel security guard.
Security forces have cordoned area. Guests safely evacuated. Terrorists have been encircled by security forces in the staircase leading to the top floor. Clearance Operation in progress.
