Violent Pakistan mob razes Hindu temple in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; shocking visuals on camera
A Hindu temple was vandalised by an angry mob in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday, news agency PTI reported quoting police officials as saying.

A Hindu temple was vandalised by an angry mob in rthwest Pakistan on Wednesday, news ncy PTI reported quoting police officials as saying. incident took place in Terri vill in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Karak district, District Police Officer Irfan Marwat told reporters. According to Marwat, protesting expansion work of temple, mob demolished newly constructed work alongside old structure. An FIR has been registered but arrests have been made so far in incident.
'Imran Khan is a disaster'
However, according to Pakistan's Daily Times, a rally was organised by Jamiat Ulema-e Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), a Sunni Deobandi political party nearby in country where speakers delivered fiery speeches after which charged crowd stormed temple, set it ablaze and razed it to ground. It quoted JUI-F KP Amir Maulana Ataur Rahman who said his party has thing to do with burning down of temple as it happened after ir party's rally.

Pakistan's federal Parliamentary Secretary for Human Rights Lal Chand Malhi strongly condemned vandalism of temple by "some anti-social elements". ting that some groups are active in carrying out such anti-social activities to defame Pakistan, Malhi said government will t tolerate such incidents. Malhi said he has asked district administration to file an FIR in case and take legal action against culprits.
incident in town of Karak drew condemnation from Pakistan's minister for human rights, Shireen Mazari. Mazari on Wednesday took to Twitter to condemn burning of temple and urged law enforcement officials to ensure arrest of those involved.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan termed attack on temple as "an unfortunate incident." He has sought an early report from police on matter and ordered immediate arrest of those involved in incident. Khan vowed that his government will protect worship places from such incidents.
Leader of Hindu Community Peshawar Haroon Sarab Diyal said that a samadhi of a Hindu religious leader exists at temple site and Hindu families from across country do visit samadhi on every Thursday. He said incident has hurt sentiments of Hindu community and Islamic Ideology Council should take te of it. Diyal said Prime Minister Imran Khan talks about promotion of religious tourism in Pakistan but mirity worship places were t safe in his own country.
