Parents using 'spider filter' to terrify their kids sparks debate

Social media company Snapchat recently celebrated spirit of Halloween and rolled out a "spider" filter that left virtual spiders crawling across faces and mouths of people trying out filter. However, people from different parts of world have been trying out "spooky" filter on ir children's' faces alongside recording ir reactions.

Ar user wondered if this filter would trigger arachphobia(fear of spiders and or similar creatures such as scorpions) whereas someone else asked people posting such videos to stop doing it to scare ir children.

However, this is t first time parents have tried to perform a viral challenge on ir children. A few people h tried out Cheese challenge wherein y were witnessed throwing cheese slices at toddlers sitting on chairs and posting ir reactions on social media platforms.
