Philippines ban citizens from travelling to South Korea amid coronavirus outbreak
Philippines Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Disease barred travellers from the North Gyeongsang province of South Korea amid the virus outbreak.

Philippines has imposed restrictions on travellers from South Korea and barred Filipis from touring to East Asian nations amid vel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. partial ban was placed on South Korea’s rth Gyeongsang, one of most impacted regions from coronavirus, confirmed reports.
Presidential spokesperson Salvor Panelo told media that Inter-ncy Task Force on Emerging Infectious Disease approved instructions to bar travellers coming from rth Gyeongsang province of South Korea effective immediately. He furr ded that government was going to conduct a risk assessment in order to determine wher ban must extend to rest of South Korea. He said that evaluation should be effective within 48 hours.

Reports suggest that South Korea has largest number of confirmed cases impacted by pathogen outside mainland China. new confirmed coronavirus cases stand at 115, soaring total to an alarming 1,261, confirmed Korea’s Centres for Disease Control and Prevention. Amongst cases anunced earlier, United States military stationed at South Korea declared one of AMerican soldier infected.
