'PM Modi- Angela Merkel share good relation', says German Envoy

Walter J Lindner, a German envoy said that India and Germany share a very long-standing relationship, and potential to engage in discussions on various topics

Angela Merkel, German Chancellor is coming on her India tour along with a delegation from 12 ministries. She will arrive here on Thursday, October 31, to eng in a bilateral discussion with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on various issues, informed Walter J Lindner, a German envoy. Linder furr ded that Merkel might also discuss issue of Kashmir during her visit. Lindner said that India and Germany share a very long-standing relationship.

India and Germany to sign 20 agreements 

Angela Merkel will be visiting India for a three-day tour, during which she will participate in 5th Biennial Indo-German Inter-governmental Consultations (IGC). Lindner said that delegates from all ministries will be part of visit. talks can range from artificial intelligence to agriculture along with ecomic issues. According to sources, India and Germany will probably sign 20 agreements pertaining to a wide spectrum of issues that will be discussed during Merkel’s visit.

Lindner furr reflected that India and Germany have a very long-standing relationship, which will furr benefit two nations in strengning cooperation in various areas. Lindner was questioned wher re will be bilateral discussions on issue of Kashmir between German Counsellor and PM Modi, Lindner said two leers have a “very good relationship and y can talk about any issue“. And establishing that he doesn't want to anticipate about talks that are yet to take place.

Merkel and Modi have will exchange ir views on various matters

In a statement released by Ministry of External Affairs, two sides will discuss deepening of cooperation in tritional sectors such as transport, skill development, and energy, and explore possibilities for cooperation in newer areas like green urban mobility and Artificial Intelligence (AI). It also re that Merkel and Modi have will exchange ir views on various regional and global matters. Both leers will have a separate engment with CEOs and business leers of both countries, statement said. As per visit plan, Angela Merkel is expected to meet  President Ram Nath Kovind. Merkel will also meet famous female personalities who have brought a change in society and ackwledge ir contribution.
