Kyiv: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Kyiv, Ukraine for a one-day visit during which he will be meeting Ukrainian President Zelenskyy.

After a successful visit to Poland, PM Modi took a train to Ukraine. The Prime Minister undertook a significant journey to Ukraine on August 23, traveling via the luxurious 'Train Force One' after his state visit to Poland.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Train Journey from Poland to Ukraine

The luxurious ‘Train Force One’ is renowned for its opulent amenities and state-of-the-art facilities. The train features a modern, high-end hotel-like interior, complete with a large conference table, a plush sofa, and a wall-mounted TV. 

It is equipped with advanced security measures, including armored windows, a secure communication network, and a dedicated team of security personnel.

The train has special measures for the protection of VVIPs to ensure secure travel in war-torn Ukraine; the total journey time was ten hours.

PM Modi Ukraine Visit Agenda

During the visit, the two leaders are set to discuss cooperation in defense, economic and business relations, and advancements in science and technology. 

Zelenskyy’s office has confirmed Modi’s trip and gave indications of ‘multiple cooperation agreements and bilateral and multilateral issues’ will be addressed.
