Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said he is looking forward to G-20 virus summit to be held via video conference on Thursday to discuss coronavirus pandemic. " #G20 has an important global role to play in dressing COVID-19 pandemic," he tweeted Wednesday. Saudi Arabia's King Salman will chair  virtual summit and leers of over 40 nations and international organisations, such as WHO, are expected to participate in meeting.

coronavirus-affected countries like Italy, Spain, Jordan, Singapore, and Switzerland are taking part in summit. G-20 members will be joined by leers from Spain, Jordan, Singapore, and Switzerland, as well as several top international organizations such as UN, World Bank, WHO, World Tre Organisation, IMF and Organization for Ecomic Cooperation and Development (OECD) will also participate in summit titled 'G20 Extraordinary Virtual Leers' Summit on COVID-19'.

Regional organisations will be represented by Vietnam Chair of Association of Souast Asian Nations (ASEAN), South Africa Chair of African Union (AU), United Arab Emirates Chair of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Rwanda Chair of New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEP), statement said. All G 20 nations are expected to attend summit.

PM Modi said he is looking forward to "productive discussions tomorrow at #G20VirtualSummit, being coordinated by Saudi G20 Presidency". Leers from group comprising 19 industrialised countries and European Union will discuss global coronavirus crisis via video conference to develop an action plan.
