PM Modi to attend three forums at the UN to showcase India's efforts
PM Modi will be attending three forums at the UN- Climate Action Summit, Universal Health Coverage and the opening plenary of Bloomberg global business forum.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be attending three forums at the United Nations- The Climate Action Summit, the event on Universal Health Coverage and the opening plenary of the Bloomberg global business forum. According to PM Modi, the forums are expected to build more opportunities for India. Just a few hours before his departure to the United States of America, PM Modi has released statements on Twitter of his engagements during his week-long trip from September 22 to September 27.

Climate Action Summit
On September 23, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to address the Climate Action Summit held in the United Nations. According to reports, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will host the summit in an effort to boost ambition and accelerate actions to implement the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. PM Modi had also stated that this will be a platform to showcase India’s success in meeting several Sustainable Development Goals.

Universal Health Coverage
PM Modi will be sharing India's achievements in providing healthcare and wellness for the needy. The recent launch of the Ayushman Bharat Programme rests on the twin pillars of health and wellness centres. With this, the National Health Protection Mission (NHPM) for 100 million families in the country will also be highlighted at the UN event - Universal Health Coverage.

Bloomberg Global Business Forum
The Bloomberg Global Business Forum (GBF) will open on September 25 at the Plaza Hotel. According to reports, Prime Minister Modi and Michael Bloomberg will focus on opportunities to strengthen global economic stability and tackle climate change. Further, it will also focus on promoting economic growth and advancing technologies to improve society. It is reported that the forum is supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies. PM Modi will also launch the International Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) during his address in the UN.
