Canada: Police mistake trapped goat's bleating yelp for a screaming child

Canada Police after receiving reports of a child screaming rushed to the spot to save the distressed kid but they found on the spot left many users amused.

Police in Cana's Ottawa rushed to rescue of a screaming child after receiving reports of child being in possible distress, however, what y found on spot left many social media users amused. Ottawa police immediately rushed to check out a report of a child calling for help on January 27.

complainant informed police that y could hear sounds of a child screaming from a wooded area near his property. y reached spot and searched but could t find any child. But to ir utter surprise, y found a goat with its he stuck in a fence helplessly bleating.

Police's Statement

police released a statement on February 3, which re, "Police were called to a rural dress in west end early evening on January 27, when a resident heard what he believed was a child calling for help. All complainant could say was sound was coming from a wooded area in rth end of his property. Officers searched in dark but didn’t hear anything, r did y find a child in distress. y went to check with neighbouring houses and at one residence, spoke with a woman who could account for all three of her children."

"Her husband came in while police were re and reported his goat h been screaming earlier. When he checked, he found animal with its he stuck in fence. farmer said sound could be mistaken for a child screaming. He led officers to area and sure eugh, it was exactly where complainant reported sound coming from. All kidding aside, police are reminding residents to report suspicious activity immediately so we can check it out. It’s always better to be safe than sorry."

According to Ottawa police,  a farmer at a house nearby told cops that his goat got stuck in a  fence and said that sound could be mistaken for a child screaming. When officers went to check out, y found goat trapped exactly where complainant confirmed sound coming from.
