Pope Francis is demanding that Facebook, Apple, Google and other tech companies urgently take measures to remove child porn from the web and to prevent children from accessing pornography online.

Pope Francis is demanding that Facebook, Apple, Google and or tech companies urgently take measures to remove child porn from web and to prevent children from accessing porgraphy online.

Francis told a Vatican conference of religious leers and high-tech representatives Thursday that it’s longer acceptable to merely follow law in monitoring online content, since techlogy is fast outpacing regulation.

Rar, he demanded that companies mselves assume a moral responsibility to protect young people from what he said were ruius effects of porgraphy on ir emotional and sexual development.

He said: “re is a need to ensure that investors and manrs remain accountable, so that good of mirs and society is t sacrificed to profit.”
