A post office is offering a job as a post office on a tiny island in Antarctica. The employees will have to work in the middle of nowhere.

A new job listing has just been posted on Antarctic Herit Trust's website job is located at a post office on a tiny island off a peninsula in Antarctica. According to job listing, y are currently looking to fill three roles- Base Leer, Shop Manr, and Port Lockroy Assistant.

Located in middle of where

post office is located at Port Lockroy on Goudier Island. According to sources, employees at post office are given only one day off every 14 days. But according to Lucy Dorman, who spoke to local media, claimed that re is place to go even when one has a bit of free time.

main tasks for all those that apply and get accepted are sorting tens of thousands of letters by hand, scraping penguin poo off base and chatting to guests that come and visit you. As per reports, around 18,000 people come to tiny island each year and h staff letters and postcards to be sent back to ir respective destinations.

Because  post office is so remote and in middle of where, all food that crew will eat from vember to March next year arrive at start of one's posting. While tourist ships do occasionally bring fresh fruits and or treats, employees diet mainly consist of tinned and dried foods.
