Protests against Iranian president outside UN

Several dozen protesters chanted and waved flags in front of the United Nations on Tuesday, protesting the speech of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.

The Organization of Iranian American Communities group planned the protest.

Ramesh Sepehrrad, the head of the OIAC's advisory board, claimed Raisi does not represent the Iranian people and also called for an international investigation into Raisi and his alleged role in the 1988 massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in Iran.
