Putin gifts another Gyrfalcon to UAE Crown Prince, after Saudi King
Russian President Vladimir Putin has gifted another gyrfalcon to UAE Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, after gifting one to Saudi Arabia's King Salman.

Russian President presented both monarchs with same gift during his first visit to Middle East since 2007. In return to this, MBZ gifted Putin with a glossy model of an Emirati palace, and Saudi Kingdom gifted Russian President with a priced Arabic painting.
However, prey bird drew due attention in Riyh after it defecated in front of Saudi Arabian King, as Putin gently stroked Gyrfalcon, named Alpha. Meanwhile, Gyrfalcon gifted to UAE Crown Prince seemed comparatively calmer.

Putin's visit to gulf came after growing hostility between Sunni Muslim Saudi Arabia and Shi’ite Iran and attack on Aramco. While many countries, including United Kingdom, France, and US blamed Iran for attacks on Saudi oil facilities, Putin has been treing cautiously and never directly held Iran responsible for it. Putin, in an interview with Arab media, h lauded Russia's ties with Saudi Arabia and UAE.

After a series of incidents in Gulf that raised fears of a regional conflict between Saudi Arabia and Iran, Russian political analysts h said that Russia could "play role of a peacemaker." Putin recently anunced that he would visit Israel, ar US ally, next year.

Major Arab powers have expressed ir concerns over US' withdrawal from Syria's rastern region and subsequent military incursion by Turkey against Kurds.
