Ramya Krishnan to step into Tabu's shoes for the Tamil remake of 'Andhadhun'?

Mohan Raja, who is well-kwn for making hit remakes, is all set to remake yet ar hit Bollywood movie. Mohan Raja is working on Tamil version of 2019 hit film Andhhun. According to a report in a leing daily, actor Ramya Krishnan is being approached for Tabu's role in Tamil remake. Official confirmation of same is yet to be me.

Ramya Krishnan in Tamil Andhhun

Ramya Krishnan is kwn for her role as Shivagami in Baahubali series. She also played role of Shakti Seshri in TV series Queen, which is loosely based on  life of late Tamil Nu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. makers of Tamil Andhhun are very keen to have Ramya on board but actor is, reportedly, yet to sign deal.

While Ramya might be playing role of Tabu in movie, report confirms that Prashanth will play character portrayed by Ayushmann in Hindi original. Prashanth was last seen in movie Vinaya Vidheya Rama which was released in year 2019. 

rights of film have been obtained by Prashanth's far and filmmaker-actor Thiagarajan. Thiagarajan h said in an interview with a leing newspaper that almost every production house wanted to get remake rights of film, but he mand to get it.

A source shared with  daily that Mohan Raja is working on final draft of film. cast might be revealed soon by makers. shoot is also said to start in coming days.

Prashanth was a part of Tamil remake of movie Johnny Gdar. movie was named Johnny. It was directed by Sriram Raghavan, director of Hindi Andhhun. report also claims that re were rumours that Siddharth and Dhanush were also interested in featuring in Tamil remake.
