The spat between Rebecca Vardy and Coleen Rooney took a fresh turn on October 11 when Vardy compared the latter to a pigeon. While talking an international entertainment media house, Vardy said that discussing issues with the English footballer's wife is like talking to a pigeon. She further says that it does not matter who is right or wrong. Rooney had accused Vardy of leaking the private information about her family and herself to British tabloids. Vardy, however, has refused any wrongdoing saying that she's “disgusted” even having to deny such a deed.
Rooney's Instagram trap
Coleen Mary Rooney, the television personality had been noticing her information being leaked for a long time to a British tabloid. In order to find out who is the silent culprit behind the information being given to the world, Rooney created a trap on Instagram. According to her post on Instagram, she had been facing this issue “for a few years” that someone who had followed her personal account, was also in touch with the media. To find out how, she blocked everyone from viewing her Instagram stories which disappear in 24 hours, except one account, which was Rebekah Vardy's account. Even after doing so, the information was going out. Rooney further claims that she has saved and took a snapshot of her story along with the people who viewed it in order to keep proof. Rooney also called this entire situation as a “burden”.

'Until finished looking'
Soon after Rooney's post on her social media accounts, Rebekah Vardy also posted on her Twitter saying that she will refrain herself from saying anything before the situation is appropriately analyzed. Vardy also wrote on Instagram expressing that she is hurt by Rooney's “trap” when she could have addressed the situation over a phone call. The 37-year-old also said that she has “never spoken” about Rooney and the journalists who have asked her questions about Rooney “can vouch for her”. She further believes that the situation could have been handled by her changing the passwords of her accounts as over the years, many people have accessed her official accounts.
