Naga Insurgent Group NSCN (K) Niki Signs Ceasefire Pact With Centre For Peace In Nagaland

In a big development on Wednesday, Nationalist Socialist Council of Nagaland (K) Niki Group signed a ceasefire pact with Centre to bring lasting peace in Nagaland. Alrey, Union government has entered into similar agreements with or Naga groups such as NSCN(NK), NSCN(R) and NSCN(K)-Khango besides signing a Framework Agreement with NSCN(IM). present pact was signed by Piyush Goyal, ditional Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs and Nikato Pilot Sumi and Abel Zingru Thuer who are members of militant group.

Punjab CM Amarinder Singh Calls Centre's Decision To Increase MSP Of Wheat 'patic'

Chief Minister of Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh on Wednesday slammed Centre's anuncement on increase in minimum support price (MSP) of wheat, calling it "patic." He furr accused Centre’s decision on price hike as "putting salt on wounds of farmers". Captain Amarinder Singh has been demonstrating against farm laws over last ten months.

UP Health Minister Assures All Possible Measure In Place To Control Viral Fever Outbreak

Amid a surge in cases of viral fever from Uttar Presh, State Health Minister Jai Pratap Singh on Wednesday assured that state government has been taking all possible steps for controlling outbreak of viral fever. He furr ded that door-to-door surveys will be conducted for understanding problem in detail and making necessary measures. Over past few days, several districts of Uttar Presh have been reporting cases of viral fever among people especially children.  With pandemic situation in place, new threat has become a matter of concern for Uttar Presh government.

'End Of Anarchy': China Welcomes Taliban Govt, Backs It To Restore Order In Afghanistan

A day after Taliban anunced its caretaker government in Afghanistan, China on Wednesday welcomed new dispensation in Kabul. Calling it 'end of anarchy,' Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin, in a media briefing, said that it was need of hour to restore domestic order and pursue post-war reconstruction in Afghanistan. He furr said that according to Taliban, caretaker government has been formed to restore social and ecomic order in country, and China respects sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Afghanistan, reported CGTN News.

US t Inclined To Support NRF? Blinken Says Focus On 'conveying Expectations' To Taliban

Though National Resistance Front of Afghanistan has wd a brave battle against Taliban, US indicated that it is t inclined to support it. In an exclusive interview with TOLOnews Director Lotfullah Najafiza on Wednesday, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken was asked as to wher his country was in touch with NRF. In response, Blinken said, "Our focus right w is on working with international community to set clear expectations for government that emerges in Afghanistan, and to communicate those expectations to government and what government to be and to work on that basis".

Dhanb Judge Death: CBI Registers Two More FIRs Related To Alleged ft In Case

In latest development in  Dhanb judge death case, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday filed two more FIRs in connection with an alleged ft related to case. According to CBI, two FIRs pertain to ft of three mobile phones by accused persons. With two new cases, central probe ncy is w investigating three cases in relation to death of Judge Uttam Anand. ft cases were ditionally being probed by Jharkhand Police before central ncy took over investigation of entire case.

Pakistan Openly Endorses Taliban Government; Says 'it Will Meet People's Needs'

Facing a backlash over its blatant interference in Afghanistan, Pakistan stopped short of formally recognising new Taliban government on Wednesday.
