Royal Canian Mounted Police (RCMP) on September 21 said that a team of Canian police searched an apartment linked to woman arrested on suspicion of sending ricin-laced letters to White House and five or locations in Texas. RCMP's Chemical, Biological, Riological, Nuclear, Explosives (CBRNE) team led operation in searching house located in Montreal suburb.

Canian police in a statement on Monday said y believe a total of six letters were sent, one to White House and five ors to Texas. police furr ded that y can't confirm wher woman lived in apartment y were conducting searching in but said that it is definitely connected to her.

unnamed woman was arrested by United States authorities near Buffalo at US-Cana border on September 21. She will be produced before at a court in Buffalo at 4:00pm EDT on September 22.

Ricin-laced letters
This letter was caught at an offsite government facility that sorts and screens all mail dressed to White House and President Donald Trump for safety reasons. Law enforcement ncies told US media that tests were conducted which confirmed that suspicious pack contained a poison called Ricin. exact location of letters sent to Texas is still unkwn but media reports suggest that police department in Mission received a suspicious letter last week.
FBI, US Secret Service, and US Postal Inspection Service are investigative authorities in this case. Working in collaboration with ir Canian counterparts, y are investigating possibility that pack may have been sent from Cana. investigative ncies said that y have t found any evidence to link woman to political or terrorist groups but y are looking into that angle.
