A bunch of teenagers from Rio Rancho recently released a music video on depression and suicide. The video has gone viral all over the internet with more than 200,000 views on Facebook. The name of the track is “Worldwide Suicide” featuring Da Ivy League, posted on Oct. 9
The sad story
The video starts with the quote “Depression is being colourblind and constantly being told how colourful the world is.” The song mainly focuses on various sensitive issues that people face on a daily basis, like drug use, overdosing, anxiety and bullying. In the video, a bunch of teenagers can be seen consuming drugs to numb themselves from feeling low and to reduce their anxiety and depression.

The video reveals the causes behind depression and suicides, which is constant bullying and ignorance by the society. The video also showed artists across the globe, who have died due to drug overdose, depression and have committed suicide like Mac Miller, Verne Troyer, Amy Winehouse, Michael Jackson and Marilyn Monroe.

The artist used many phrases that explains the feeling of being depressed, he also revealed that he had to really get into the zone to write the song. He mentioned that the response to the video has been great and it feels good to see the supports coming from people across the world.

All the actors and creators involved in the song, met in Rio Rancho. The aim of the video was to make people around the world realise that they are not alone if they feel depressed or suicidal. Spaceboi Kenny said that all of us go through it as individuals, we witness people going through depression, suicide, and being abused and he never realized it that it could be so hard to talk about it publicly.
