Rockstar Games talent acquisition which is headed by Kiran Kumar, released an advertisement poster on its Linkedin page to hire new testers in Rockstar India. According to the poster, the recruitment drive will be conducted on November 16 and 17 in Pune. The poster instigated a sense of curiosity among the GTA fans, speculating if the Grand Theft Auto 6 will soon be released. Certainly, the GTA fans are excited about the sixth edition.
Rockstar games hiring for game testing
The advertisement consisted of a GTA graphic and read, “Would you like an opportunity to work amongst some of the most creative talents in the video game industry? Rockstar India, the developer of Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption, is hiring”. The company also asked freshers for two years of expertise in the Rockstar games. This lead to instant speculations by the gamers who concluded that the new game that might require testing will be GTA 6. However, there is absolute silence on the release of GTA 6 from its makers.
Fans anticipate the release of GTA 6
It was one of the fans who spotted the GTA graphic used in the advertisement and concluded that the company soon announce its release date. Another fan added that the post definitely means that the GTA 6 has probably approached its ALPHA or BETA stage and requires testing. One cannot blame the fans, GTA 5 was released back in 2013 and it's been six years since the company launched the news edition. Therefore it is rather obvious for the fans to get impatient. One of the sources mentioned that the Company might fetch for a 2020 Christmas launch date which will be at the same time PS5 is supposed to be launched.
The never-ending speculations
It's been a year and the speculations surrounding GTA 6 seem never-ending. Rockstar Games boss Dan Houser reported last year in October that he was glad he was not releasing the sixth edition in the era of Trump. According to him, the game will suffer from political turmoil.
