Russia: 83-years-old postwoman still works the same mountain route
The oldest postal worker in Russia, 83-year-old Ekaterina Dzalaeva has been walking the same mountain route she has been working for over the last 50 years.

In recent times, Dzalaeva states that now she frequently gets lifts from passing cars to her destination and does not walk as far as she previously would.

When Ekaterina as a child h always envisioned that when she would grow up, she was certain to become a postwoman. She said that as a child she dreamt of becoming a postwoman as re would be people waiting for her to come and that y would love her, she ded. Russian postwoman took a decision to give up school around year 1958 as re was no one to look after land and cut hay. In between taking care and tending land, Dzalaeva missed mission period for her local school. As destiny would have it, it was during this period that young Dzalaeva discovered that was no postman at post office and asked manager to employ her. Dzalaeva states that manager asked her if she could work. To which she said that she would do her best to. Ekaterina Dzalaeva furr stated that she did not imagine n that she would be still at same job 50 years later.
