Saratov: Flight operations at the Saratov Airport in Russia have been affected temporarily.

The temporary restrictions have been imposed in the wake of the drone attack on a 38-storey skyscraper in Saratov.

Temporary restrictions have been imposed for the departure and arrival of flights at the Gagarin International Airport in Saratov.

The flight restrictions have been announced following the UAV attack on Russia by Ukraine amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine War.

Drone Crashes into 38-Storey Skyscraper in Russia's Saratov

Four people have been injured out of which one woman is in a critical condition after a drone crashed into the 38-story residential complex "Volga Sky", the tallest building in Saratov, Russia on Monday, August 26.

According to the governor of the region southeast of Moscow, Roman Basurgin this incident was a result of Ukraine's drone attack.

A video of the incident was posted on Basurgin's Telegram account, which showed the high-rise residential building in Saratiov with a damaged side and flams could be seen blown out of windows across three floors.

"A woman was hospitalised in serious condition. Doctors are fighting for her life," he said.

The governor said emergency services had fanned out at affected sites in the city and Engels.
