Biden says it's up to Ukraine whether it should cede territories to Russia or not

As Kremlin troops continued to burn down cities for over 100 days, US President Joe Biden remarked that it was up to the Ukraine to cede territories.

As Kremlin troops continued to target Ukraine for over 100 days, US President Joe Biden remarked that it was up to Ukrainian ministration wher to cede territories to Russia or t. dressing media reporters on Friday, he said, “It’s ir (Ukraine’s ) territory. He said, “But it appears to me that at some point along line, re’s going to have to be a negotiated settlement here. And what that entails, I don’t kw. I don’t think anybody kws at time”. In his remarks, Biden also reiterated his continued support for war-torn country highlighting that his ministration is going to put Ukrainians in a position” where y can defend mselves.”

During an dress to Luxembourg parliament earlier this week, Zelenskyy h mitted that Russia successfully occupied one-fifth of Ukraine's territory. While Russia continues to focus on industrial Donbas, Zelenskyy vowed to make region “Ukrainian”. Earlier in February, Biden h remarked that Russian leer was trying to carve ar “USSR”  through his so-called special military operation. Experts have also opined that Putin was trying to leave a legacy while also galvanising support for 2024 polls.
