Donetsk People's Republic set to open embassy in Russia as Ukraine war continues: Report
Amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) is all set to open its embassy in Russia this month, Russian media reported.

Amid ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) - a breakaway region of Ukraine - is all set to open its embassy in Russia this month, Russian news agency TASS reported.
DPR's Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova said on Friday that country has alrey sent request to Kremlin and has chosen a candidate for ambassor.

"We have alrey sent an agreement request to Moscow. We have alrey chosen a candidate for ambassor," Donetsk News Agency quoted her as saying. However, name of possible ambassor has not been revealed yet.
Russia-Ukraine war: DPR all set to open embassy in Moscow
Nikonorova furr said, as per media reports, that DPR foreign ministry is prepared to open its embassy in Russia as she hopes to receive Russia’s agreement and officially open its embassy within one month. Earlier, on 22 February 2022, Russian foreign ministry exchanged notes with foreign ministries of Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and established diplomatic relations.

Russian Federation Council at a special session unanimously approved agreements on cooperation and mutual assistance with LPR and DPR regions. Notably, Moscow shares a good relationship with Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. Earlier, on February 21, before Russia launched an attack on Ukraine, Russian President Vlimir Putin announced Donetsk and Lugansk, which are collectively a part of Donbass regions of Eastern Ukraine, as independent states.
