G7 finance ministers warn Russia of 'massive consequences' if Moscow invades Ukraine

Foreign ministers from United States, Britain, and rest of G7, were earlier joined by European Union’s foreign affairs chief to discuss Ukraine’s security as Russia massed troops on frontier.

“We are united in our condemnation of Russia’s military buildup and aggressive rhetoric towards Ukraine,” y h asserted in a joint statement. “Our immediate priority is to support efforts to de-escalate situation. However, we reiterate that in particular any furr military aggression by Russia against Ukraine will be met with a swift, coordinated, and forceful response,” G7 foreign ministers warned Russia in a joint statement.
