Russia-Ukraine war could have been avoided but wealthy nations 'overslept': Polish PM

PM of Poland asserted the wealthiest countries should finance Ukraine reconstruction as they 'overslept' the moment it was possible to stop Russian aggression

As full-fledged Russia-led invasion of Ukraine has entered Day 25, international community has been increasingly showing solidarity with war-ravd eastern European country. In latest, Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki asserted that wealthiest countries should join plan because y 'overslept' moment it was required to stop Vlimir Putin's aggression toward Kyiv.

"Today's Ukraine is being affected by fear, but it is also being marked by cour of soldiers, who have been fighting, and by hope of entire nation for rebirth of a sovereign state after war. He stated that it was necessary to formulate a plan for reconstruction of Ukraine, which should be co-financed by developed European countries. Furr, Morawiecki underscored that he is determined to raise this issue at next European Council slated to be held on March 24-25.

On pretext of carrying out a 'special military operation' in Ukraine and automous region of Donetsk, Russian President Vlimir Putin launched an offensive.
