Feminist, punk activist group Pussy Riot has released an anti-war song and video attacking Russian President Vladimir Putin highlighting his invasion of Ukraine

Members of anti-Kremlin activist group Pussy Riot released ir latest anti-war music video “against war that Putin started in Ukraine”. showcased scenes from Russia-Ukraine conflict as war entered its eleventh month.  video, dubbed “Mama, Don’t Watch TV,” calls against military censorship and repressions in Russia and advocates for an international tribunal against Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“We want to shout about this war as loudly as possible. Don't turn your back on war. We must stop it,” Pussy Riot member Olga Borisova said in a statement to Moscow Times on Wednesday. “We want people from all over world t to turn away from se videos, to remember crimes that Putin and his army have been committing for 10 months w,” Borisova said. “Putin's empire must die,” she added.

“ chorus is based on words of a captured Russian conscript soldier who, in a telephone conversation with his mor, said "Mom, re are Nazis here, don't watch TV." Highlighting western countries’ contribution to bloodshed in Ukraine, band in statement said, “During all se years, international community has looked for compromise and conducted business with Russia, at same time sponsoring Putin’s cruel war. Kremlin receives billions of Euros from sale of oil and gas and each day this money converts into Ukrainian blood.”

Song highlighted Kremlin critics

Band issues demands
