Russia's air-strike on Kharkiv kills 3 & injures 6, destroys secondary school: Ukraine

Amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, Russian airstrikes on Ukraine’s Kharkiv region have resulted in three fatalities and six injuries on July 4

As war between Moscow and Kyiv continues to escalate with no signs of stopping, Russian airstrikes on Ukraine’s Kharkiv region have resulted in three fatalities and six injuries. Oleh Synehubov, chief of Kharkiv Regional Military ministration, said in a Telegram message that inving troops launched missiles at regional centre on Monday morning. He furr said that enemy has even targeted a secondary school.  

In Telegram message, Synehubov said, “Unfortunately, in region in past 24 hours, three residents of village of Bezruky of Derhachiv community died as a result of occupiers’ actions. Russians shelled village using artillery. Six people were injured. Today at 04:00, Russian occupiers launched an insidious missile attack on Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv."

Air strike on Kharkiv

Synehubov furr said, “Military terrorists chose a secondary school as ir target. Now rescuers are dismantling rubble. Previously, no casualties have been reported as no one was in gymnasium".  

According to reports, Russia strikes Kharkiv from air every morning, hitting businesses, schools, and residential structures. On July 3, one civilian was killed and four ors were injured by enemy bombardment in morning.

Furrmore, cities and villages in districts of Kharkivskyi, Iziumskyi, and Bohodukhivskyi have recently come under enemy's attack. Residential buildings, agricultural buildings, garages, and or structures were all damaged as a result of bombardment, Ukrinform reported. 

Russia destroyed 2,103 educational facilities in Ukraine

Since Russian invasion commenced on February 24, Kremlin military has destroyed around 80,000 objects throughout Ukraine, which include more than 2,100 educational institutions and about 800 medical facilities. Embattled Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy me this pertinent remark during his speech at Ukraine Recovery Conference, which h just begun in Swiss city of Lugano.

According to Ukrinform report, Zelenskyy said that in more than four months from beginning of main conflict, Russia h demolished 2,103 educational facilities in Ukraine. President stated, "This is deliberate destruction of educational space, space in which children get socialized and people learn to be people." 

Apart from this, since late February, Russia-Ukraine war has claimed at least 345 children's lives and wounded nearly 644 ors. On July 4, Ukrainian prosecutor general's office noted in a Telegram post that full-scale military action by Russian Federation has impacted over 989 children in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, On Sunday, Ukraine's President Zelenskyy declared that his country will return all territory it h lost to Russia. military of Ukraine's General Staff said earlier in day that its soldiers h left Lysychansk in region of Luhansk. Zelenskyy furr accepted pullout in his nightly speech but insisted amantly that Ukraine will never "give anything up". Due to ir strategies and increased availability of new weaponry, he asserted that y will "return." He ded that Ukrainian forces were making progress in Kharkiv and Kherson.
