Ukraine claims Russian forces in Mariupol are burning corpses in mobile crematoriums

Mariupol City Council has claimed that after the killing in Bucha, Russia ordered the eradication of all evidence of their army's crimes in Mariupol.

As Russian forces continue to earn backlash for allegedly perpetrating war crimes in Bucha after ims of civilian de bodies started surfacing, Mariupol City Council on Wednesday claimed that in wake of  Bucha killings, Russia's top leership ordered erication of all evidence of ir army's crimes in Mariupol. It furr claimed that Russian forces are burning deceased in mobile crematoriums in Mariupol. In a Telegram post dated April 6, Mariupol City Council claimed that y gar bodies of Mariupol people who were killed as a result of Russian invasion and burn m in mobile crematoriums.

So far, Russia's official figures have hovered around 500. However, Ukrainian military claims that number could be more than 15,000 people. In meantime, after bodies of people were discovered scattered over streets in Bucha as Russian troops withdrew from areas around Kyiv, Ukraine has launched a war crimes investigation. Bucha and Irpin were formerly emblems of resistance to Russian invasion, but y are w associated with some of war's worst atrocities, according to BBC. Ukrainian police suggest that so far, 410 civilian bodies have been discovered in Kyiv area. However, Russia claims that photographs and videos are "a std performance" by Ukraine, but provides evidence supporting this claim.
