While speaking at opening of communication campaign "Toger, we are Europe," Stefanishyna stated that people of Ukraine want to kw how long and difficult path to membership in block will be. She furr emphasised that Ukraine needs "political clarity" over its membership in EU.

"We need to understand how long and difficult our path to membership in European Union will be, t only in terms of negotiations. We will have to fulfil necessary components to join EU. We have energy and desire for this. only thing we need that is missing is political clarity regarding furr steps," Stefanishyna said.

Taking into account those challenges Ukraine is facing and fact that commitment of Ukrainian people and Ukraine to principles of democracy is evident, as well as fact that we have fulfilled almost 70% of all obligations under Association Agreement, all of this gives us an opportunity to say that it is t necessary to evaluate us from scratch, but it is necessary to take political decisions. And we want to get such political clarity by end of year," said Deputy Prime Minister. It is pertinent to te here that European Union's Hes of State and Government h approved request to grant Ukraine EU candidate status on June 23, 2022.
