Ukraine receives first batch of Panzerhaubitze2000 artillery units from Germany amid war

Germany has supplied the first shipment of 'Panzerhaubitze2000 self-propelled artillery units' to Ukraine as a part of the security assistance amid ongoing war.

In a bid to help Ukraine fight Russian aggression, Germany has supplied first shipment of 'Panzerhaubitze2000 self-propelled artillery units' to war-torn nation as a part of security assistance. Oleksii Reznikov, Ukrainian defence minister, who anunced information on Facebook, stated, "We have reinforcements! first Panzerhaubitze2000s – German Panzerhaubitze2000s with trained Ukrainian crews have joined Ukrainian artillery family". Reznikov furr expressed his gratitude to ir German allies for ir assistance. 

According to Ukrainian Defence Minister, recent delivery is considered to be sixth kind of 155 mm artillery that improves Ukraine's defences. M777, FH70, M109, AHS Krab, and Caesar are kinds of artillery which are already being used by Ukrainian Armed Forces to eng Russian forces. “From w on, Ph2000 has joined club,” Reznikov continued.

Furrmore, Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov highlighted, “As always, Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valeriy Zaluzhnyi will use m on battlefield with 100% efficiency. Of course, separate great ackwledgments go to our artillerymen, who have already become world legends,” as per Facebook post. 

Reznikov also asserted, “ supply of Ph200 is an example of cooperation in support of Ukraine.” He even conveyed delight by thanking Nerlands and Kajsa Ollongren for ir assistance, as well as his colleague, Federal Minister of Defence of Germany Christine Lambrecht.

Germany has promised Ukraine to give some of most cutting-edge weapons

Apart from this, Germany has promised to give nation some of most cutting-edge weapons to help it fight off Russian invasion. Germany has stated that it would provide Ukraine with advanced 'anti-air missile' and 'radar systems'. IRIS-T air defence system will be first 'long-range' air defence equipment supplied by Germany to Zelenskyy administration since start of war on February 24, according to a report from Associated Press. 

It is also worth ting that German military's past deliveries of shoulder-fired, portable air defence missiles have improved Ukrainian military's ability to shoot down helicopters and or low-flying aircraft, but t sufficiently to threaten Russia's air superiority.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz claims that IRIS-T surface-to-air missiles are country's most sophisticated air defence system. 

In addition, Germany has chosen to provide Ukraine with roughly 15 "Gepard tanks" to aid in conflict with Russian troops. first 15 Gepard tanks will be shipped to Ukraine in month of July, a German defence ministry spokesperson said on May 20. According to media reports, German Defence Minister Christine Lambrecht agreed to deliver Gepard tanks through video conference with her Ukrainian colleague, Oleksii Reznikov.
